WWE Star Defends Triple H After Big Match Gets Pulled From SummerSlam 2023

WWE Star Defends Triple H After Big Match Gets Pulled From SummerSlam 2023 WWE

Raw star Zoey Stark has defended Triple H following WWE moving Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus off the SummerSlam 2023 card.

Despite WWE reportedly building this Lynch vs Stratus’ feud for SummerSlam, the bout was recently announced for the August 14 edition of Raw.

Many fans have voiced their outrage about this decision, with this being one of two women’s matches that appear to have been cut from the August 5 premium live event.

Speaking with Stephanie Hypes of Ten Count, Zoey Stark stated that this decision wasn’t made to screw over the women’s division.

Noting that Chief Content Officer Triple H knows what he’s doing, Stark said:

“Hunter (Triple H) is a smart man. There is a reason, guys. He’s not just doing it to screw the women. He’s not.

“He’s doing it because he wants to make sure Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus have plenty of time to do it. I’m sure there are other reasons that come into play that we’re not even thinking about.

“When we get the match, and we will, it will be great and we will have plenty of time and it’s going to be a match well worth waiting for.”

It was previously reported that WWE made the decision to move the match to TV as it would’ve been severely limited on by time on the SummerSlam card.

WWE has reportedly been adamant about limiting the number of matches for premium live event shows, which lead to some matches being moved off the SummerSlam card.

Becky Lynch has now fired another shot ahead of SummerSlam, which you can read more about right here.
