What Will Happen to SmackDown Live?
According to Belloni, WWE is still leaving SmackDown Live up for grabs. This means FOX is still in play to bring pro wrestling to its channels next year. When it was reported that both Raw and SmackDown Live could go to FOX, it was believed that the red brand would be broadcast on network television, while the “B-show” would be on FOX Sports 1.
Now that Raw is supposedly staying on USA, perhaps SmackDown Live could move to network television. The network would not need to find two nights of open air and instead could clear just Tuesday nights. If they were in fact willing to change Monday lineups to fit Raw, that would beg the question of why they can’t just alter Tuesdays instead?
