Following their recent match at a WWE NXT house show, Zaria has sent a warning to Bayley after their match ended with a DQ finish.

The May 17 NXT Live show in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, saw Zaria gain victory via disqualification, with Bayley addressing the attack on social media.

Calling on Shawn Michaels, Bayley would note that Zaria used a chair to gain the advantage in their match, tweeting:

“@ZariaWWE_hit me with a chair tonight.

“@ShawnMichaels, what are we gonna do about this?”

Zaria would react to Bayley’s complaint with a warning of her own, suggesting that the chair shot may not be the last one, stating:

“AND I’LL DO IT AGAIN”

If those in charge listen to Bayley, she has made it quite clear that she wants to make a more regular return to WWE NXT, with her recent house show run over the past weekend being her first since NXT Vengeance Day in Februry of last year.

No Slowing Down For the WWE Grand Slam Champion

To date, 2026 has seen Bayley compete on WWE NXT, Raw, SmackDown and AAA, with the star teasing the possibility of a TNA Wrestling appearance at Slammiversary next month.

Having signed with WWE in 2012, Bayley has shown that she still has plenty of gas in the tank and that championship opportunities continue to play a part in the road ahead. Recently, she faced Lady Flammer for the Reina de Reinas Championship, only to come up short thanks to interference from Las Toxicas (La Hiedra & Lady Maravilla), suggesting that a feud further down the line may be in the Raw star’s future.

A vocal advocate for women’s wrestling, Bayley also held her second Lodestone seminar over WrestleMania 42 week, attracting stars from across the globe to train under the WWE veteran and the likes of CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.

Ahead of her recent NXT house show run, Bayley stated it was “time to go scout“, looking towards the John Cena Classic and potential opponents that she could very well be facing in the upcoming tournament.

With NXT continuing to be a pipeline to the main roster, and Evolve also having a raft of future stars of their own, Bayley clearly has a place in shaping the future of the WWE women’s division.
