Newly crowned IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega and WWE’sXavier Woods are ready to face each other in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition on June 14 at the Capcom booth at E3 being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
This is not the first time these two have faced off in a fighting game, with the record between the two being one-and-one.
Kenny Omega wanted to prove that he had the skills and Xavier Woods, not one to back down, issued a challenge to Omega via Twitter. Omega accepted, and with all the back and forth, the official Street Fighter Twitter (@streetfighter) tweeted:
BREAKING NEWS: We just spoke with @XavierWoodsPhD and @KennyOmegamanX and they've agreed to settle their #SFVAE feud in one week – June 14 during E3! pic.twitter.com/QolOVdzE9n

This contest will be different than the past two, however. Instead of a one on one match, it will be three on three. Woods has enlisted the help of his New Day brothers, Kofi Kingston and Big E. Omega, not to be outdone, tweeted this:
I appreciate the sentiments on my historic win, @XavierWoodsPhD , but for you to assume that I wouldn’t find any friends for #E3 is about as silly as your mid card comedy act partners. Get ready for your first main event, boys. https://t.co/VOID0xornN #theElite

And so we have, The New Day vs. The Elite.
E3 is a three-day event, June 12 to 14 taking place in Los Angeles, CA. The convention will be streamed for those of us unable to attend on both YouTube and Twitch live. Check out e3expo.com for more information about events and streaming schedule for those days.
Even though we don’t get NJPW vs. WWE in the ring, this is a way for us fans to see all of our favorites interacting with each other.
