The wrestling world has been reeling after the loss of Big Van Vader.
The legendary super heavyweight was battling back from an extensive heart surgery when he finally succumbed to pneumonia last Monday.
TMZ Sports interviewed Vader’s son, Jesse White, and asked him who had reached out to him over the loss of his father. White mentioned Stone Cold and Mick Foley, and also said Sting made a real difference in the last year of Vader’s life.
Sting is a resident of the Dallas, TX , where Vader had his surgery and recovered. During the recovery Sting would spend time reading the Bible with Vader and reminiscing over old times. White said Sting has been a “blessing” in his and his father’s life over the last year.
The love and outpouring from Sting and everyone else has inspired Jesse to create an email address to fans can send in unique photos and stories about the man they call Vader. The email is vader.leonwhite@gmail.com.
If you have a unique picture from a live event or a cool story about the big guy, please share it with the family and continue the celebration of his life.
Like Jesse said in his interview. It’s still Vader Time.
