With the recent announcement by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will return at SummerSlam, Rajah.com is reporting that Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley is expected to main event Extreme Rules on Sunday evening.
This is likely because the victor of that bout will challenge Brock Lesnar in August and the company wants to keep the focus on the red strap and its next contender.

There are other candidates for the top spot at Extreme Rules, however, with strong support mooted for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Iron Man Match between Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins. There is said to be zero support, however, for the WWE Championship Match between AJ Styles and Rusev.
If rumors are true, this will be third pay-per-view out of five the ‘Big Dog’ has headlined since and including WrestleMania 34. Devotees quickly tire of the star’s constant push.
Do you agree with Reigns vs. Lashley being the main event? Who would you rather see challenge Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam? And which match would you book to go on last? Let us know on Twitter and Discord where you can chat with all of your favorite writers.
