Charlotte Flair’s ex-husband is suing WWE after they released a book in 2017 in which it was claimed he was unable to father children, says TMZ.
Riki Paul Johnson, who was married to Charlotte between 2010 and 2011, is requesting $5million in damages after the “Second Nature” book WWE released about the Flair’s in September 2017 made the claim that Johnson was infertile and unable to father children.
Johnson claims the allegations in the book have humiliated his family, including his three children (spot the issue with the infertility claim).
He also claims the book includes “multiple false allegations physical and/or psychological abuse”, and he says he can prove this with police reports and dash-cam footage.
He went on to say he was only being labelled as the bad guy to make Charlotte seem like a “victim who overcame personal adversity and domestic abuse.”
Johnson also named WWE in the suit because he says they were involved in the marketing of the book.
Regarding the suit, WWE have released the following statement:
“We recently received what appears to be a meritless lawsuit and we will vigorously defend ourselves.”
