Bayley and Sasha Banks became the inaugural WWE Women’s Champions after outlasting all their competition to win the belts at the Elimination Chamber.
It looks like their first challengers will likely be Nia Jax and her pet Tamina after the Samoan duo interrupted the Boss and Hug Connection during a celebratory promo on last night’s Raw, but that hasn’t stopped Bayley and Banks challenging other teams.
Most notably, replying to a tweet from former women’s champion Trish Stratus, Bayley hinted that she and Sasha would be up for a match with Trish and Lita at some point down the line.

Following their appearance at the all-women’s PPV Evolution last year, there were rumours that Trish and Lita would be a team within WWE, but that seemingly never came to fruition. But now that there are women’s tag belts, it seems far more likely that the two legends could make some kind of return to boost the division’s star power.
The Hugger also responded to challenges from Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai of NXT, who could also be in line for a title shot once their respective knees have healed.
Be ready. https://t.co/P2NTsJ3Ud1
