Last night at Fastlane it appeared that WWE Hall of Famer and former Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix was set up to make her in-ring return. Phoenix appeared to stand up to Tamina and Nia Jax after the pair assaulted Sasha Banks and Bayley they powerful duo lost their championship match.
Jax and Tamina would then attack Phoenix before Natalya would make the save for her former tag team partner. This would appear to not only solidify Beth and Natalya as a tag team once again but also set up the former up for a return to in-ring competition.
With WWE having introduced the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, and each brand having its own individual women’s roster, WWE often finds that their women’s division lacks depth.
The seemingly imminent return of Phoenix and the explicit lack of roster depth with regards to female performers has led us to rank the top 10 women who could and should make a return to WWE to help alleviate some of the aforementioned issues.
