In an interview with Sports Illustrated, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson spoke about his departure from the company, and what the future holds for the former Four Horsemen member.
“I was fortunate enough to work with WWE for 18 years. Certainly that provided my family and myself with a nice living, and I have no regrets. A lot of my best friends still work there. Everything has a shelf life, and I guess mine ran out.”
It was announced by Conrad Thompon, the event’s main organiser, that Anderson would be appearing at Starracast II over AEW’s Double or Nothing weekend:
“We’re proud to have Arn Anderson on stage as one of our marquee events. We can’t wait for Arn to have a live mic in his hand, and stay tuned for more details.”
Arn Anderson would follow this up himself by adding:
“It used to be a dangerous setting when they handed me a live mic, so we’ll see if it will be again.”
It is an exciting time for Starrcast, and having a legend who has just left WWE, with a track record for not holding back in these kinds of interviews will surely make for some interesting soundbites.
