Kurt Angle has revealed who his opponent will be in his WrestleMania retirement match and the announcement brought groans of despair from fans worldwide.
Since Kurt confirmed he would be retiring at ‘Mania, fans have been speculating over his his opponent might be. John Cena was the favourite, with the full circle nature of that particularly story appealing to some, given Cena made his WWE debut in 2002 against Kurt on SmackDown.
Other options were thrown around, including Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker, all great opponents of Angle over the years.

But no, instead of those potential last-time-ever dream matches, Kurt will be lacing up his boots for the final time against . . . Baron Corbin!
Yes, boring Baron will be in a singles match against the Hall Of Famer at the show of shows, with Kurt declaring he would “love” to beat the man who made his life hell while he was GM.
I guess you can at least give WWE credit for long term booking but come on! Corbin!? BARON FREAKING CORBIN!?
Well, there goes the wind out of my WrestleMania excitement sails.
