Finn Balor, embracing his “Demon” alter-ego, defeated Bobby Lashley in WrestleMania 35’s penultimate match to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Balor first won the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber in February 2019 by defeating Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush in a two-on-one handicap match. He then lost the title to Lashley on an episode of Raw. Balor’s latest win marks his second reign as Intercontinental Champion.
