Mickie James made the switch from Raw to Smackdown as part of the Superstar Shakeup in April. She is yet to make a TV appearance for the blue brand, but has been wrestling at live events.
However, it is at one such live event this weekend that Mickie James might have picked up an injury while working a match with Carmella in Waco, Texas.
The referee stopped the bout after just five minutes when Mickie went down with a knee injury. WrestlingInc. is reporting that James was checked by a WWE doctor, but was able to walk to the back without much help.
James has not commented on her injury officially and its seriousness at this time is known. WrestleTalk will provide more information if and when it becomes available.
