Sasha Banks and Bayley have both taken to social media this evening with cryptic tweets that may give some insight into their current mindsets.
Bayley, the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion, posted a simple but telling tweet earlier this evening, writing:
What I want doesn’t even exist yet.
— Bayley (@itsBayleyWWE) June 4, 2019
Quite what that means is unclear but evidently Bayley’s best friend and former tag partner Sasha Banks both knows and can empathise.
Banks responded with a simple: “I felt dat” followed by a love heart emoji.
This follows Sasha herself posting some interesting tweets yesterday.
The first was a black and white picture of her entering the ring as NXT Women’s Champion – perhaps a call back to the “good old days” – which you can see below:

The second was far more cryptic.
Banks – complete with a picture of her with black hair rather than her trademark purple – referred to herself by her real name Mercedes and wrote a letter to herself from, erm, aliens.
Oh Hi Mercedes
So happy we found you,
Let's promise to never lose you again.
Love

Answers on a postcard . . .
Sasha, of course, has not been seen in WWE since WrestleMania 35 when she walked out on the company in protest over the way she had been used.
The biggest bones of contention for Sasha were losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to the IIconics at ‘Mania and that she and Bayley would be splitting up as a team.
Banks asked for her release but was refused. She has since met with Vince McMahon and the situation is said to be “better” but still some way from being resolved.
