Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News – I’m Oli Davis, and today’s episode is sponsored by Vikings: War of Clans!

NO, NOT VIKING EXPERIENCE, VINCE – something much cooler.

Install Vikings: War of Clans Using Link Below!

Vikings was inspired by some of the famous RPG games of the 90s like Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 – fun fact, Ric Flair was in Command & Conquer Red Alert 3. “you cocky little bastard”.

Which War of Clans takes to the next level, where you build up your Vikings’ army and village to fight against over 3 million players in a single event!

I got to try it out because, hey, it’s free to play, and you can choose your own play style. Diplomacy and teamwork? Later losers. I dominate and destroy cities. Ah, crap, I just got beat-

So support WrestleTalk and download Vikings for FREE only from my links in the video description below and you’ll get the special bonus of 200 gold coins and a protective shield, which comes in pretty handy at the start. And join my Vikings clan under the nickname Wonder Oli!

It’s very important you use that link, as it really helps us here at WrestleTalk, and it’s a great game too.

Drake Maverick LOSES 24/7 Title?!

…Drake Maverick [MUSIC CUT FOR DRAKE LINE, ZOOM IN ON MY TURN] has multiple reasons to celebrate this week. He’s got his wrestling friends EC3 and Braun Strowman as the best man and groomsman respectively, he’s getting married to the love of his life, former Mae Young competitor Renee Michelle and, most importantly, he pinned R-Truth for the 24/7 title on this week’s SmackDown.

Ahead of the wedding, …Drake Maverick celebrated his bachelor’s party in Orlando, that included some topless stripper poses posted to Braun Strowman’s Instagram account [04], and finally put to rest one of the most intense and blood thirsty feuds in professional wrestling: his rivalry with Matt Hardy’s son 4 year son King Maxel – with the 24/7 champ tweeting:

“Buried the hatchet. He’s promised not to pin me”

But then just a few hours later, …Drake Maverick followed that up with:

“WORST. DAY. EVAH.”

‘Ever’ crucially being spelt in the Broken Matt Hardy way of speaking, with King Maxel, the traitor, posting a video in reply showing him stealing the 24/7 title and running away with it!

Curse you Maxel!!!!

And the Hardy clan is only increasing in power, as Matt and his wife Reby Sky have just announced the debut of their third child!

“Super excited to announce that a brand new Hardy debutng soon to join #HouseHardy. Will it be another Hardy Boy? Or will it be a Hardy Girl? What I do know is that it shall be absolutely WONDERFUL!”

Hopefully, on being birthed, they’ll be the youngest 24/7 champion so far.

While the 24/7 title segments are consistently entertaining, the rest of Raw and SmackDown in recent months has seen ratings continue to drop. And one person is sick of fans asking him to return to save it.

CM Punk Shoots On WWE Fans

Despite leaving WWE and wrestling back in 2014, CM Punk is still one of the most demanded returns to the sport, with fans and interviewers constantly asking him about if he’ll ever make his comeback. A situation not helped by the fact he actually returned to wrestling under a mask during an indie show in April, and keeps trolling fans about signing to AEW.

Frustrated with his non-wrestling related tweets being flooded with wrestling questions, Punk posted a seeming shot at WWE’s current product and its fans in reply:

“Since I can’t have fun and tweet about movies or baseball without you telling me about rasslin’, question for you: Why do you spend your time on something you hate? If it’s soooooo bad, leave it. I did. Works wonders. I look forward to the intelligent discourse.”

You’re an intelligent discourse. Punk continued:

“Imagine going to the movies once a week to see the same movie you hated last week. For years.”

You leave the X-Men movies out of this. And replying to a fan who explained:

“It’s called passion and holding out hope that something that used to be epic will be that way again.” Punk corrected: “It’s called Stockholm Syndrome.”

But that’s all very WWE-centric. What about the new wrestling promotion alternative, All Elite Wrestling! One rather entitled fan passively aggressively asked about this on Twitter:

“@CMPunk are you gonna disappoint your fans by not show up at aew?”

To which Punk replied: “Yes.”

So you’re telling me there’s a chance!
