WWE announced about 30 minutes before Smackville started that Finn Balor had been pulled from the show due to an “undisclosed injury”.
According to reports from both John Pollock and PWInsider, Finn Balor is not injured, and is instead suffering from an illness that meant he couldn’t be at the show.
Finn Balor has not been cleared for tonight's match with Shinsuke Nakamura on the Smackville special in Nashville.
Was told that it is a "24-hour bug type situation" and they are hopeful that Balor will be available for SmackDown on Tuesday night.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp adds that Finn had been hospitalized with a stomach flu.
Balor was set to challenge Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Title, and was replaced by Ali. Nakamura won that bout to retain.
The Irishman will take on ‘Fiend’ Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam on August 11, after which he is set to take a couple of months break from WWE as per his request.
