Earlier on this year, it was reported that controversial independent star Joey Ryan had rejected offers from both WWE and AEW.
Ryan has since revealed that he will be continuing to work on the independent scene, stating he does not want to be tied down to one promotion.
One of the promotions (and likely the biggest) that Joey Ryan will be working for in 2019 is reportedly Impact Wrestling.
PWInsider is reporting that Ryan had filmed some pre-tapes for Impact Wrestling and will be appearing at the TV tapings this week.
“Joey Ryan is at the taping and will be appearing this week for Impact. He was filming pre-tapes earlier today.”
This is a big coup for Impact Wrestling, with Ryan being one of the most popular and charismatic wrestlers on the independent scene today.
This has also come at a very good time for the promotion after it was reported that they are punishing Killer Kross for refusing to blade in a recent match, a decision that wrestling fans and critics seemingly do not agree with.
