Yesterday on WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin revealed that John Morrison had decided to rejoin the company. It was later confirmed that the former Intercontinental Champion had signed a new multi-year deal with WWE.
This news came after it was reported several months ago that Morrison had been contacted by both WWE and AEW about joining the promotions after leaving Impact Wrestling in the Summer.
John Morrison’s real-life wife Taya Valkryie took to Twitter to comment on the news. She said that she was so proud of her husband.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Valkyrie also tagged Paige in the tweet, telling the former Divas Champion that she loved her too.
I’m so proud of you @TheRealMorrison 😍 @RealPaigeWWE I love you too!! https://t.co/lDxGUDNz3T

Valkyrie’s comment came after Paige urged WWE to sign Taya. Taya is the reigning Impact Knockout’s Champion, recently becoming the longest-reigning champion in the belt’s history.
For those who aren’t aware, Taya actually signed a WWE Developmental back in 2011. However, she did not wrestle a single televised match for the company.
NXT Star Chelsea Green has also teased a Taya Valkyrie move to WWE. Commenting on the news of Morrison’s return, Valkyrie said that he wished he “had a super hot wife” for her to wrestle.
YAYYYY @TheRealMorrison !!! Now, if only he had a super hot wife for me to wrestle…. https://t.co/48xXNht68D pic.twitter.com/0tZ0JyJcmV

There is no word on how long Taya has left on her Impact Wrestling deal, or if WWE is even interested in bringing her in. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on this story.
