Colt Cabana has wrapped up his time with Ring of Honor (ROH), with his final match coming at last night’s Final Battle event, according to POST Wrestling.
Cabana was defeated by fellow veteran Alex Shelley after setting up a match with him on the pre-show.
According to POST’s report, ROH was aware since September that Final Battle would be Cabana’s last appearance for the promotion. He was utilised as a commentator and occasional wrestler throughout his run.
Cabana is the current NWA National Champion, and will defend that title in a three-way on tonight’s Into The Fire pay-per-view against Ricky Starks and Aron Stevens.
It’s also likely he’ll continue in NJPW in a tag team with Toru Yano considering the pair beat current Tag Champions the Guerrilas of Destiny recently.
