Although it feels like six months ago, it was just last week that WWE officially announced that they had come to terms with the releases of Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson,
For those that aren’t aware, this came over a year after the talented duo known as The Revival reportedly requested their releases from the company.
Prior to the duo being granted their releases, WWE reportedly wanted to turn the duo into comedy characters. This supposedly started with Dash falling over the stage on SmackDown in December 2019.
Well, part of this comedy gimmick change would have seen The Revival have completedly new gear and new entrance gear. The images below from Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net show just how stupid Vince reportedly tried to make The Revival look.

It is easy to forget that Revival are one of the best tag teams in the world, and it is criminal that WWE didn’t book them in such a manner while they were with the company. The fact Vince tried to get the duo to be comedy characters and wear what looks like lipstick shows just how out of touch he is.
When you see stuff like this, it is extremely clear why Revival made the call not to re-sign with WWE, despite being offered crazy money to stay.
