Bronson Rechsteiner, son of Rick Steiner a former WWE and WCW wrestler, signed a free-agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens. Rechsteiner played football for Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
Rechsteiner went undrafted after performing extremely well at the NFL Pro-day. He did 35 reps on the 225 pounds bench press. He ran a 4.48 second 40 years dash. He did a 6.95 seconds in the cone drill. He did the most reps on the bench press for any running back at the combine.

He played running back in college and rushed for 909 yards and seven touchdowns. While he was good in college it was at a lower level and did not get drafted in last week’s NFL draft.
It’s not uncommon for many undrafted players to get signed to free-agent deals immediately after the draft. However, a lot of these types of players will not ever actually play in a regular season NFL game.
Some will make it through training camp. Others will play in pre-season games and get signed to practice squads. A select few will actually stay on the team through the season.
Will Rechsteiner make a roster? If not, Rechsteiner has said he is open to pursuing a wrestling career, but only after he has focused on trying to make football work for him.
