It’s that time of the week that we Rick Roll you with a title change headline as the WWE 24/7 Title has switched owners on Raw.
Akira Tozawa, backed up by his gaggle of ninjas, put the strap on the line against R-Truth tonight, just a week after winning it from Truth himself.
The head ninja Tozawa actually got out-ninja’d by Truth, who won the sanctioned match with a roll-up to regain the title.
After the match had finished, the 24/7 rule being reinstated meant that a couple of the backup ninjas tried to roll Truth up, but it was to no avail and he managed to escape.
This is now Truth’s 37th reign with the title, which is obviously far more than anyone else, and you have to wonder just how many more he’s going to tally up in the future. In second place for most reigns is actually Mojo Rawley with seven.
One notable absentee from the ninja squad was the big ninja Jordan Omogbehin, who we haven’t seen since the Raw after Backlash.
