This weekend IMPACT is presenting Slammiversary live on pay-per-view. The company has been teasing multiple surprises and possible debuts from recently released WWE Wrestlers.
One of those teases involves the 4th competitor in the IMPACT Championship Fatal 4-Way Match. The match was originally intended to be a 5-person match featuring Tessa Blanchard, Ace Austin, Michael Elgin, Trey Miguel, and Eddie Edwards.
However, Elgin been’s let go. IMPACT parted ways with Tessa Blanchard and vacated the title. So, we now have a mystery man to fill out the match.
The Fight Begins…

Many names have been speculated including EC3, Bully Ray, Ken Anderson, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and Eric Young. Eddie Edwards has someone who he would like to see be the 4th man.
In speaking with the Busted Open podcast, Eddie Edwards had this to say:
“If I’m being selfish, I’m friends with EC3. I’d love to see EC3 back. He meant so much to TNA and Impact, and he was there when I first came. I’d love to see him back. I’d love to see what he’s capable of doing now with the new character that we see on Twitter and his socials. I’d love to see what he can accomplish, and I’d love to wrestle him again.
“I think the story can tell itself. EC3, he’s a former Carter and all this and that. I’ve been here the whole time struggling, doing my best to be the face of the company and doing what I can to help Impact. That story would kind of write itself.”
EC3 has been teasing his return. It seems almost a foregone conclusion that he will appear on the show, but will he be the 4th man. My guess is he’ll be involved in an angle with Moose and someone else will be the 4th man.
