Injury Update On WWE Raw Star

Here’s the latest update on a WWE Raw star who suffered an injury during this past Monday’s episode of Raw doing a dive to the outside.

Ivar of the Viking Raiders held up the “X” signal upon landing and the referee called the match early despite an obvious kick-out.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE has not yet determined whether Ivar will need surgery. It’s believed his head collided with Bobby Lashley’s shoulder which is what caused the stoppage.

There is a particular concern because Ivar has a history of neck issues, so it may be a case of taking extra care in this particular instance than if it was someone without the past problems.

Losing Ivar would be a blow to the red brand. He and Erik are one of only a few tag teams left in the division, and he’s had a prominent on-screen role getting involved in Angel Garza’s efforts to romance Demi Burnett.
