AEW recently announced the signing of former WWE Superstar Serena Deeb. Deeb was part of the Straight Edge Society with CM Punk and Luke Gallows.
Deeb was also scheduled to be a part of an upcoming NWA show which airs weekly on FITE as part of their new weekly pay-per-view show. Deeb was set to wrestle Allysin Kay.
Unfortunately, that match will not be taking place. Deeb will have to skip the show due to contract tracing with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
Allysin Kay is going to have a hell of a battle on her hands with Nicole Savoy at Prime Time Live on 9/29!

As they say, the show will go on. Kay will now be facing Nicole Savoy. Savoy has also made appearances for AEW in recent months. Savoy was Little Swole and teamed with Big Swole.
Savoy also wrestled for ROH prior to the lockdown due to the pandemic. She seems to be a very good replacement and the NWA Prime Time Live show will still feature a match between two fantastic women wrestlers.
As for Serena Deeb, we here at WrestleTalk hope Deeb stays healthy and wish her well as she isolates during the next couple of weeks. Personally, I have enjoyed her work in AEW and look forward to seeing her back in action.
