Earlier today WWE Superstar Lars Sullivan made the news yet again after more controversial comments seemed to have surfaced. According to WrestleVotes, WWE is aware of these allegations and, while the locker room may be upset, it seems the man in charge is a fan.
It seems WrestleVotes might just be correct. WWE has now announced Lars Sullivan will be facing Jeff Hardy on Friday Night SmackDown on the October 16, 2020 edition of the show.
Lars made his return last Friday night. He attacked Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle after their victory.
It seemed Lars was attacking Riddle more than Hardy. However, a Riddle vs. Lars match might have been even too much for WWE to attempt right now.

If you look just at Lars Sullivan’s on-screen career, he seems like the kind of guy who might do better on the main roster than he did in NXT. We all know Vince’s love for big beefy dudes.
Sullivan certainly has the size and look to be someone who stands out on the main roster. We’ll see if this is a one-off match with Hardy or the beginning of a program.
The veteran Hardy is someone who certainly has overcome his fair share of adversity in his career. Maybe he can impart some words of wisdom on his upcoming opponent.
As always WrestleTalk will have live coverage of the show on Friday Night.
