WWE Hall of Famer ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson made his return to boxing tonight against Roy Jones Jr. in Tyson’s first fight since 2005.
After eight two-minute rounds, the fight – which was an “exhibition” – was deemed a draw by WBC judges, even though it was pretty clear that Tyson came out on top.
The post-match interview with both fighters definitely seemed to suggest that a rematch could be coming at some point in the future, and a lot of people on Twitter have speculated that the result was a work as a way to get there.
Tyson, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012, made a couple of appearances for AEW earlier this year and seemed to be building to something with Chris Jericho, but that stopped after the Jones fight had been announced.
