It appears that we now know what Peyton Royce is going to be called when she’s able to return to the ring in July later this year.
Royce was one of nine wrestlers released by WWE last week, and was certainly one of the more surprising names, considering how much talent she clearly has both as a wrestler and as a character.
She has now changed all of her social media platform names from Peyton Royce to Cassie Lee, indicating that’s the name she’ll be using when she next wrestles.
Her real name is Cassandra McIntosh, so it’s easy to see where she got the new name inspiration from. Before signing for WWE, Royce was known as KC Cassidy, but it appears she’s left that name behind.
It isn’t clear where she’ll wrestle next, but her husband Shaun Spears is currently signed with AEW, so she already has a contact in the company should she decide that’s what she wants to do next.
Hopefully wherever she goes she brings Billie Kay with her. WWE’s decision to split the two of them up was close to unforgiveable, and a reuniting IIconics would be a great to see.
