WWE has been using their current set for television since the Thunderdome era began last year. While there have been some tweaks when they moved venues, the style of the set has remained largely the same.
Now, it appears WWE is preparing to introduce new sets in the near future. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast reported the news earlier today on Twitter. Here is the tweet:
For those who didn't get it… New Sets coming soon. https://t.co/VW67o3ibCM

Zarian was also the one who first reported the news about NXT moving to Tuesday nights.
When this change will take place has yet to be reported. However, it would make sense to introduce a new set when WWE welcomes fans back this Summer, given there will no longer be a need for the Thunderdome.
The latest reports have said fans will return for the SmackDown, Money in the Bank, and Raw shows the weekend of July 16-19. However, the official return to touring is expected to come closer to SummerSlam. These things could all change so we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
