Over the last few days, it was reported that Braun Strowman was quoting independent promotions five-figure fees to book him for their shows, something that Strowman had suggested wasn’t exactly accurate.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that “the word on the street” is that Braun Strowman is charging $10,000 per appearance, which will turn off a lot of promotions who can’t afford that fee.
Obviously a lot of independent promoters have interest in Braun Strowman, but the word on the street is he’s looking for $10,000 per appearance so that will cut down a lot of the interest.
Braun Strowman is said to have been on a monster WWE contract, which is believed to be the reason he was released last week. Being so financially set, the former Raw star doesn’t need to be taking bookings right away.
