Edge has finally addressed Seth Rollins’ objections to the Rated-R Superstar challenging for the Universal Championship on Sunday.
At Money in the Bank on July 18, Roman Reigns defends his gold against Edge. Seth Rollins has previously criticised Edge for “jumping the line” to get a title shot.
Speaking on WWE The Bump, Edge told Rollins to stop complaining and take action. Urging Rollins to win the Money in the Bank ladder match and cash-in, Edge said:
“I think he needs his baby bottle. That is some whining there, but hey, cool. I appreciate that he thinks that, I do. Personally, I’m not going to go on a talk show and whine about it, I’m going to take my title shots, there’s a difference in mindset.
“You can sit there and complain all day long, or you could do something about it, and he finally did something about it. He qualified for the Money In The Bank, so win it, and then cash-in and quit complaining. I just happen to pull off robes better than he does.”
It has been reported that Edge will face Rollins at SummerSlam in August. Roman Reigns will reportedly do battle with John Cena in the main event of the Biggest Party of the Summer.
Rollins is set to compete in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match against Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, John Morrison, Matt Riddle, Big E, Kevin Owens and King Nakamura. Early betting odds considered McIntyre the favorite to win the briefcase.
