On Friday, WWE made their most recent set of roster cuts, releasing 13 NXT talents from the company.
The reported reason for this, per PWInsider, was due to Vince McMahon, Bruce Pritchard and John Laurinaitis wanting to return NXT back to a more traditional developmental.
Many watched last night’s (August 11) show wondering who would be in charge of the show. PWInsider is reporting that it was, in fact, still Triple H and the usual NXT team in charge, at least for last night’s show.
Fightful reported earlier today that WWE passed on signing AEW regular Wheeler Yuta back in May, and that to many in the company that was the first flag that changes were afoot.
