A total of eight NJPW stars have been pulled from Monday’s NJPW Summer Struggle event due to COVID-19 protocols.
Shingo Takagi and BUSHI both missed Sunday’s show due to fevers, and have undergone PCR testing but are missing from the Monday show.
The other six wrestlers who were in the ring with Takagi and BUSHI on Saturday have also been pulled from Monday’s show. They are:
- Tetsuya Naito
- SANADA
- EVIL
- Yujiro Takahashi
- Gedo
- Dick Togo
Here’s the updated card with the changes that have been made:
- El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. SHO & YOH
- Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo vs. Robbie Eagles & Tiger Mask
- Kazuchika Okada & Toru Yano vs. Chase Owens & Jado
- Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima vs. Taichi, Zack Sabre Jr, Minoru Suzuki & DOUKI
- Togi Makabe & Tomaki Honma vs. Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato
