The viewership figures for the September 28 edition of NXT, featuring a number of championship matches, have been revealed.
As per ShowBuzzDaily, Tuesday’s show drew an average viewership of 655,000 viewers. This is down from the 746,000 viewers who tuned in on September 21.
In the 18-49 demographic, this week’s episode earned a 0.14 rating, which equates to 183,000 demo viewers. Last Tuesday’s show received a 0.21 rating (260,000 viewers) in the same demo.
On the show, Raquel Gonzalez defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Franky Monet. After the match, Gonzalez was attacked by Toxic Attraction, leaving Mandy Rose standing tall with the title.
Earlier in the night, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin unsuccessfully challenged Io Shirai and Zoey Stark for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles. Roderick Strong also defended his Cruiserweight Championship against Grayson Waller.
It’s being reported that there are expected to be “many” NXT call-ups made during the WWE Draft set to begin this Friday. WWE has reportedly discussed bringing the Hit Row faction to either Raw or SmackDown during the roster shake-up.
