An update has emerged on the status of Jacy Jayne after seemingly suffering an injury during her match on Tuesday’s (October 19) NXT 2.0
During her three-way bout against Io Shirai and Persia Pirotta, Jayne attempted a dive to the outside of the ring, but landed directly on the floor instead of being caught by Pirotta.
During the commercial break, Jayne was removed from the match, while Shirai and Pirotta continued the bout.
As per Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Jayne underwent a CT scan after the show, which she passed. It was noted that it is still unclear whether Jayne will return in time for the Halloween Havoc three-way tag team ladder match, as a clear CT scan doesn’t necessarily mean she will be cleared for action right away.
NXT Halloween Havoc airs next Tuesday. In addition to the three-way NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship match, It has been announced that Mandy Rose will challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the Women’s Championship on the show.
Tommaso Ciampa is set to defend his NXT Championship against Bron Breakker. You can check out the finalised card for NXT Halloween Havoc here.
