Bron Breakker has taken the wrestling world by storm since his arrival on the debut episode of NXT 2.0 back on September 14, and most recently scored a victory over Roderick Strong on the most recent episode of the show.
Breakker recently appeared on WWE El Brunch, where he spoke about his match with Strong from this Tuesday, calling him ‘elite’.
Breakker said:
“Roderick Strong, he’s a really tough guy and a tough competitor. I have to give credit where it’s due, he’s a very elite superstar. He’s very elite. He brings the best out of his opponents. That’s all I can really say about him is that he’s elite. He’s a top performer. All the respect to Roddy. It was an old school slugfest. I was thankful for the opportunity,”
Breakker was later asked about working matches on WWE’s main roster, where he listed names such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre.
When asked about a potential bout with Brock Lesnar, he said:
“I met him (in) like 2017. I went backstage to Raw when I was in college. I met him there. As a performer, I haven’t ran into him. I’d love to work with Brock. He’s an animal. Like Roddy, he would elevate me, force me to elevate and bring my game up. It would be a war.”
Breakker is currently locked in a rivalry with Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship, while the Beast is set to collide with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE Day 1.
