Bron Breakker has been one of, if not the, break out star of the year for WWE since bursting onto the scene on the debut episode of NXT’s 2.0 rebrand back on September 14.
Breakker recently spoke to Yahoo Sports, where he spoke about the NXT 2.0 rebrand and the roster of young stars hoping to breakout on the developmental show.
He said:
“Obviously things have changed a little bit in NXT 2.0 and a new crop of talent coming along, but the locker room is great. The quality of people that we have is fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about the people we have. They are professionals, they are great sports entertainers. It’s an honor to be a part of it.”
Breakker continued on, speaking about what his long-term goals are for WWE outside of NXT. Breakker said that he wants to compete at WrestleMania, and be a reliable talent for the company.
He said:
“Obviously the goal is to make it to the main roster, go up and perform. Time will tell, but my long-term goal is to be on a WrestleMania card and be a reliable talent for this company, be a good soldier, someone they can count on, an ambassador to set an example for young people and be a great representation of what WWE is about.”
Bron Breakker is hoping to capture his first piece of championship gold in his young career next Tuesday (January 4), when he takes on Tommaso Ciampa in an NXT Championship rematch at New Year’s Evil.
