WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his championship against former 2-time Universal Champion Goldberg at the Elimination Chamber event.
Should Reigns defend the title against Goldberg in Saudi Arabia, which he is expected to do, he would have hit a rather unique milestone in his championship reign that will likely never been done again.
Defending the championship against Goldberg would mean that Reigns will have faced off against every single former Universal Champion since the title was created in 2016 in one single reign with the belt.
Reigns defeated both Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt at Payback in 2020 to capture the title, before he went on to defend it against Kevin Owens at TLC 2020 and the Royal Rumble 2021, Finn Balor at Extreme Rules 2021, Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel 2021 and Seth Rollins at Royal Rumble 2022.
