Titus O’Neil has commented on his wrestling future, revealing that he’s currently recovering from a surgery.
O’Neil hasn’t wrestled since the November 9, 2020 edition of WWE Raw. The WWE Global Ambassador notably received the Warrior Award for his philanthropy as part of the Hall of Fame class of 2020, and co-hosted WrestleMania 37 in 2021, alongside Hulk Hogan.
In an interview on 95.3 WDAE in Tampa, O’Neil confirmed that he hasn’t retired.
Noting that he has been doing a lot of stuff with WWE while rehabbing a knee injury, O’Neil said:
“I’m not retired. I haven’t wrestled in a minute but I had a procedure done on my knees that I’m rehabbing. a lot of people don’t know that so they just assumed that I’ve been retired, but I’m a global ambassador for the company. I’m in Saudi Arabia and everywhere else, so that should show somebody that I’m not retired and I’m still with the company. I’m doing a lot of stuff,”
O’Neil was one of several WWE representatives in Saudi Arabia ahead of last month’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Earlier this year, O’Neil also made an appearance on the 2022 Academy Awards Nomination Show, which you can read more about at this link.
