A backstage note has emerged on Vince McMahon’s involvement with this week’s (March 11) WWE SmackDown taping.
Per PWInsider, a lot of segments were altered and shifted over the course of the day due to the WWE Chairman being ‘very hands on’ with the taping.
This reportedly included the backstage brawl between Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair that closed the show. This segment was reportedly pre-taped earlier in the day.
On last night’s show, Big E was stretchered out of the arena after a scary botch during his and Kofi’s tag team match against Sheamus & Ridge Holland. The former WWE Champion has now confirmed that he suffered a broken neck during the bout.
