LoanDepot Park may be the home of the Miami Marlins but it’s Swerve’s house now with AEW star Swerve Strickland on the mound at a recent game.
No, Swerve hasn’t taken up another career to excel at (between music, very cool new merch drop, and a successful podcast, he already seems quite busy!) but he was on hand for the Miami Marlins game to throw out the honorary first pitch before their game against the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, June 5.
Taking to the mound, Swerve Strickland threw out the honorary first pitch and as you can see in the video below, did a great job.
Swerve continues to take the All Elite Wrestling tag team division by storm along with his Swerve in Our Glory partner and fellow WWE alum, Keith Lee.
Tacoma surely appreciates Swerve always remaining true to the 253, paying homage to his hometown with his jersey number.
Swerve Strickland is currently 7-4-0 in wins and losses; you can view all of the AEW men’s roster win/loss records (back in its original, easy-to-read format) by clicking here.
Oh and in case you were wondering, unfortunately, the Miami Marlins did lose to the San Francisco Giants with a final score of 5-1.
