**UPDATE – A high-stakes AEW matchup has been spoiled due to the reasoning behind Andrade and others missing Forbidden Door, which you can read about here**
A current AEW star appears to have been pulled from the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view, with other AEW stars slated to not appear.
Earlier today, AEW’s Andrade El Idolo posted a tweet stating that he can’t work with NJPW due to issues with AAA and CMLL.
Fans took this to believe that Andrade wouldn’t be at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, which now appears to be the case, as well as other AEW and AAA stars that won’t be on the show.
Per Luchablog, who posted the following update:
I’ve since been told Andrade was booked on Forbidden Door and is no longer booked on Forbidden Door. Fenix & Penta will also not be appearing on Forbidden Door, as confirmed to me by multiple sources. Andrade’s tweet should be taken at face value. This is bad for everyone.
Andrade made his return to AEW television as the Joker in last week’s Casino Battle Royal.
