New Japan Pro-Wrestling has unveiled the blocks for this year’s G1 Climax 32 round robin tournament.
It was previously revealed that this year’s iteration of the illustrious tournament will feature 28 participants, instead of the usual field of 20.
NJPW has now announced the lineups for four blocks, rather than the typical two.
The competitors in each block are as follows:

- JONAH
- Toru Yano
- Kazuchika Okada
- Tom Lawlor
- Jeff Cobb
- Bad Luck Fale
B Block

- SANADA
- Great O-Khan

- Aaron Henare
- EVIL.
D Block

Notable matches slated for the tournament include Will Ospreay vs Shingo Takagi, with the rivals set to meet one-on-one for the first time since their IWGP World Heavyweight Title bout at Wrestling Dontaku 2021. Ospreay is also set to clash with Juice Robinson, the previous IWGP US Champion, who was forced to relinquish the gold ahead of Ospreay winning the championship at Dominion 2022.
AEW fans will be tuning in to see Lance Archer take on Kazuchika Okada in block action. Block A also has JONAH vs Jeff Cobb lined up, to quote Big E, ‘big meaty men slapping meat.’
The tournament will begin in July, with the finals slated for August 18.
