While all of the news surrounding Vince McMahon may seem bleak, here comes the internet to inject a little bit of whimsy to lighten the mood.
Amongst the controversy surrounding Vince McMahon, there is an emerging ray of sunshine as Vince’s awkward hop off of the steel steps from last night’s Monday Night Raw (June 20) has become the newest meme making the viral rounds around wrestling Twitter.
Making the rounds around Twitter are some very funny manipulations of Vince McMahon and his surprise appearance during WWE Raw where he chose to spryly leap from the steps rather than gingerly stepping down them as you may expect man aged 76 to do.
While Friday’s appearance on SmackDown was announced in advance, McMahon’s appearance on Raw was not announced nor reported in advance as was not listed on the typically leaked run sheets for the live show (which notably typically omit major surprises.)
Last week, the Wall Street Journal published a report saying the WWE Board of Directors is investigating Vince McMahon on a secret $3 million “hush pact” regarding an alleged affair.
