Former WWE star Tino Sabbatelli has opened up about his relationship with reigning NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.

Tino Sabbatelli spent six years with WWE, working primarily in the NXT developmental brand. He was released from the company in April 2020.

Despite his release, Sabbatelli has maintained a relationship with the current NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling, the former WWE star discussed his relationship with Rose and how her on-screen persona compares to the real person.

He said:

“She’s amazing. She is one of the most humble, down to earth, caring, good-soul women. She is just an amazing person. She does a great job of playing her character, but that’s not Mandy Rose. That’s not who she is as a person. I’m extremely grateful and blessed. She makes me better in every single way. There are not enough good words I can say about her. She is an amazing woman, and I’m grateful.”

Mandy Rose has reigned as NXT Women’s Champion for 258 days as of this writing, which is tied for the fifth longest reign with Charlotte Flair’s first run with the title.

Rose defeated Roxanne Perez to retain the gold on the July 12 edition of NXT 2.0, thanks to Cora Jade betraying her NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion partner.
