On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the AEW Trios Championship belts were unveiled for the first time, and so unsurprisingly, everyone is now discussing who AEW might choose to become their first ever champions.
One of the most obvious choices would be the Super Elite of Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, but as mentioned by Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio, it’s not guaranteed that Kenny Omega will be back in time to win the belts at All Out.
During last night’s show, there was a tease that perhaps instead of Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page would team with the Bucks to go for the belts, with their likely opponents being reDragon and Adam Cole.
A reunion between Adam Page and the Bucks has also bee teased numerous times on Being the Elite, so there’s every chance AEW is going in a different direction than a Kenny Omega and Bucks title win.
If you haven’t already seen, here are the new title belts which were revealed last night (July 27).
