John Cena has fuelled speculation surrounding Bray Wyatt potentially returning to WWE.
With Triple H now in charge of WWE creative, many have wondered if Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) will be the next star to make a surprise comeback.
A recent report indicated that WWE higher-ups believe that company is more likely to re-sign Rotunda than before. Following this, Cena has shared two Instagram posts related to Rotunda.
The first was the post that Rotunda recently shared to Twitter, which many perceived as a cryptic message about his future. Rotunda has claimed that it was not his intention to tease his next move.
Cena also shared a shot from his and Rotunda’s Firefly Fun House bout at WrestleMania 36 in 2020.
While Cena uses his Instagram account to post photos without explanation for his fans’ interpretation, it is pretty intriguing that he shared these posts so soon after the latest Rotunda-WWE update.
John Cena himself hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since his return on the June 27 edition of WWE Raw, 20 years after his SmackDown debut against Kurt Angle.
Numerous wrestlers have left WWE since Wyatt’s exit. Check out a list of every WWE departure of 2022 at this link.
