With Triple H now in charge of WWE creative following the retirement of Vince McMahon, we have seen various former NXT stars return to the company, and more current NXT stars be prepared for a future call up.
Santos Escobar lost a match to Tony D’Angelo at NXT Heatwave, where he would leave NXT if he was defeated. He made a stop by the show this week to pick up the rest of Legado Del Fantasma, seemingly sending the whole stable up to the main roster.
Also set for a call up soon is Solo Sikoa, who has reportedly been discussed for an imminent call up, possibly as soon as next month.
In an update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, another name who has been discussed for a call up in Indi Hartwell, who reunited with Dexter Lumis on this week’s show.
Meltzer noted that Legado, Sikoa and Hartwell are the names discussed for a call up, though there has been no time frame on the latter two.
He wrote:
The entire Legado group, with Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro and Elektra Lopez, is going to the main roster. Other names that have been talked about in that regard are Solo Sikoa and Indi Hartwell, although no time frame for either
Indi Hartwell was defeated by Blair Davenport on this week’s NXT show, before cutting a promo on her recent luck as Dexter Lumis returned to the brand to reunite with his wife.
