An update has emerged on Tyson Fury’s status for WWE Clash At The Castle on September 3.
In April, Fury teased his WWE return, hinting that he could be in Cardiff for WWE’s UK stadium show. It was then reported in July that Fury was in talks with WWE.
Fury hasn’t appeared on WWE TV in the lead-up to this weekend’s show. Per GiveMeSport, Fury will be in Cardiff on September 3 for WrestleFest in the day, and to attend Clash At The Castle in the evening. Sources have reportedly stated that Fury almost certainly won’t be involved in any physical segments on the show.
Fury made his pro-wrestling debut at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, defeating Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) via countout.
The boxing star had been teasing a match with Drew McIntyre, who will be challenging for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the event. Other titles that will be on the line include the Intercontinental Championship, with Gunther defending against Sheamus, and the SmackDown Women’s Championship, with Shayna Baszler challenging for Liv Morgan’s gold.
