In an interview with Independent UK, Drew McIntyre shared his thoughts about the frequency that championships should be defended in WWE.
Of course throwing a little shade at his Clash at the Castle opponent for the WWE Championships, Roman Reigns, McIntyre has some thoughts on the future of the titles.
Speaking on the matter, Drew McIntyre said:
“Roman is perhaps my greatest rival since I returned to WWE. He’s always had my number, he’s on the run of a lifetime right now. If I don’t beat him, I just don’t know who will,” McIntyre said. [But] the winds of change are blowing through WWE right now, it all starts and the top and rolls downhill. How are the titles going to be represented? I believe they should be represented on all shows, be defended at least every thirty days and I’m going to make that happen.”
Roman Reigns has won every singles meeting between he and Drew McIntyre since his return to the company, going 4-0 against the Scottish warrior since 2016.
WWE is preparing for their first stadium show in the UK in over 30 years set to kick off Saturday, September 3, 2022.
As the show is in the UK, there is a special start time of 1 pm EST and 10am PST.
